Revolutionizing esports with AI-Analytics.

An Esports Management Tool 🎮️

Gamlytics is the next big thing in Esports.

About the founder 👤

Meet Casino Apte, founder of Gamlytics. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Casino moved to the US at the age of 18 to pursue an economics degree at Colorado College.

A lifelong video game fanatic, Casino was always fascinated by the concept of playing video games professionally. “15 years ago, if you asked a kid what they wanted to be when they grew up, and they said professional video game player, you probably would have laughed…Well, I was that kid.

During his time in college, he served as the in-game leader of his college’s varsity Counter-Strike Global Offensive team, competing against the likes of UCLA, ASU, and Stanford.

Discovering a golden opportunity 💡

During his sophomore year, Casino read “Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game” by Michael Lewis. Intrigued by the concept of sabermetrics (the use of statistics in baseball), Casino decided to write his economic thesis on applying the same concept to esports. The results birthed the idea of Gamlytics. Casino’s thesis concluded that esports had yet to utilize statistics the way traditional sports teams do.

Having now competed at a high level of esports, Casino noticed the lack of an easy-to-use analytic and management tool in the world of esports. And with prize money now in the hundreds of millions of dollars, it was only a matter of time until esports teams cared about every minute detail regarding their teams and players.

There’s a gap in the market, players aren’t being valued correctly, and teams aren’t optimized for success. It took baseball 150 years to revolutionize and use statistics. I love esports and don’t want it to take nearly that long.

Welcome to Gamlytics 🎮️

Optimizing esports data to help players and teams make better decisions.”

Gamlytics aims to bring the level of statistical analysis seen in traditional sports to the world of professional gaming.

Through Gamlytics, esports athletes and teams will have access to advanced data analytics that can help them better understand their performance, receive insights into team strengths or weaknesses, and truly understand the game they are playing at a deeper level. Gamlytics serves as a tool to coaches and players, helping them streamline day to day operations with a plethora of managerial features, while also providing deep insights into how they can optimize their gameplay to position themselves in the best way possible.

What is the growth potential of this business 🌎?

Timing is the number one variable when it comes to startup success. Gaming is growing and growing fast. Esports prize pools and team valuations have grown incredibly in the past 20 years. Gamlytics is looking to go global and has already formed partnerships with esports boot camps, teams, and university programs worldwide.

Think of us as the Workday or Salesforce for esports. Salespeople wake up every day and use these CRM tools. Gamlytics aims to become the go-to platform for esports coaches, managers, and players. Our goal is to provide them with essential tools and resources to optimize their performance and operations.

Gamlytics recently got accepted into a global top-10 startup accelerator, Start-Up Chile, and will be part of the upcoming cohort starting in September. The plan is to use the accelerator's resources to finalize their BETA platform and begin generating revenue in Q4 this year.

What makes Gamlytics different to other platforms 👇️ ?

While there are esports analytics platforms out there, Gamlytics looks to take analytics to the next level. Many platforms focus only on the player, Gamlytics wants to look at the team. We want to help teams understand themselves better and optimize their team composition, strategy, and play style to maximize their chances of winning.

How should you set up on defense? Which plays are statistically your best on offense? Are there gaps in your team? Do you need to sell a player and buy another? Or can you efficiently train a guy on your roster to fill this gap? These are all questions we want to help esports teams answer.”

What’s the revenue plan for Gamlytics?

Gamlytics plans to operate on a freemium business model.

Think along the lines of Chess.com x Tinder - where users can use our platform for free and get access to our products. However, if you want access to some really cool features, or deeper insights, you’ll have to join our premium tier via a monthly or annual subscription.

Where are they in the funding process💱?

Gamlytics raised a friends and family round earlier this year and are in the middle of a pre-seed funding round at a US$3.5 million valuation. So far, they have raised US$70,000 and are looking to close the round at US$150,000. An additional US$18,000 will also be given to them upon beginning the startup accelerator program in Chile.
